How to Install WordPress Themes

Uploading the theme to your FTP server

  1. Download the theme zip file and extract the files into a folder.
  2. Using an FTP client to access your hosting server. Upload the theme folder to the wp-content/themes directory on your host server. (For example, a theme named daisy should be in wp-content/themes/daisy.)

Activating the theme

  1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
  2. Select the “Appearance” from left menu.
  3. In the Available Themes section, click on theme title or theme screenshot photo to activate.
  4. Click “View Site” at the top of the screen to view the new look.
